How to download YouTube as MP4
- Paste the video link and press Convert.
- Open Download as MP4 video.
- Tap a resolution.
Which resolution to pick
The list shows only what YouTube has for that video. A video uploaded at 720p will not show 1080p.
- 1080p: laptops, TVs and larger screens.
- 720p: phones and tablets, at a much smaller size.
- 480p and 360p: slow connections and low storage.
Why 1080p can take longer
YouTube serves 1080p video and audio as separate streams. The server fetches both and merges them into one MP4.
